So this one time at band camp

This actually happened at band camp. Or rather, I saw a girl sporting this hair at band camp. It was cool and stuck with me (remember what I said about how I remember hair? yeah). French braiding upside down is really tiring and makes all the muscles in my arm ache. But I think it's worth it. I had to practice a couple of times to fully get the hang of it so don't give up hope if you can't do it on the first try! Practice :)

DIY: Sunday Morning Edition

I woke up bright and early and decided to do this wrap bracelet diy from Everything Fabulous. True to the blog's namesake, this bracelet is indeed fab. I want to wear this bracelet around and shove it in people's faces to tell them that I made it with my own bare hands. I don't know how but I'll restrain myself.

Everything Fabulous uses a leather cord but I opted for just a wax cotton cording of about the same thickness (It was because the leather was more expensive). I got everything I needed at Michael's (the cord) and Home Depot (the nuts), just in case you were wondering. And I used a clipboard so that I could have more leverage as I was wrapping the string around the chain and cord.

Now on to another topic of importance. My hair. Sometimes I don't get why the kind of girls who chop off all their hair and then complain about how they can't do fun cute things like put braids in their hair or do fancy updo's when all throughout their long hair's lifetime they did not even attempt to do a single one of those fun cute things (I know this because I just have a habit of noticing people's hair and also because my memory is A+). So here I am attempting to do fun cute things with my hair while it is long enough to do so.

Some other things I am working on at the moment:

Bedazzling my new phone case with art deco (I bought a kit when I was in Japan)

Putting glow in the dark stars all around my room because I am really an eight year old child

Painting my switch plates and the electrical outlet covers with Chalkboard paint (also purchased at Home Depot).
