Clearance Whore

I was at half-price books yesterday because I hate the idea of the e-reader and books becoming a thing of the past. Reading a novel on a Kindle just wouldn't have the same feeling for me. But that's just me because lots of people love their Kindle to no end. So I was looking through all their shelves and wandering around without an actual book in mind and I found these two books on clearance for only a dollar each! And one of them is hard cover. Awww yeahhhhh. Ain't no party like a hard cover book party. Am I right?

They're both memoirs but I read Angela's Ashes (the prequel to these books) years ago and really liked it so I thought I would continue reading about his life. I really like memoirs. They are some of the only non-fiction that I'll read.
